Winter Solstice season is when the Sun reaches the lowest point in the sky. It is also known as Yule and has been celebrated for centuries around the world and as early as the Stone Age. It is considered by the Celts as one of the 8 Sabbats/holidays representing Birth/Death/Rebirth. The longest night of the year, I consider the opportunity for a Soul cleansing. This year, December 21st is very near the New Supermoon, on December 23rd gives deeper meaning to reflect, let go and set intention for the coming light.
Centering around a bonfire and observing the night sky creates a ritual to expand our perceptions about Love/Peace/Harmony.
